Is ORO alcoholic?
No. ORO is a non-alcoholic beverage. The agave in it is used as a prebiotic fibre and a natural sweetener — it is not fermented or distilled.
What does ‘agave prebiotic’ actually mean?
Agave inulin is a fibre that passes through the small intestine undigested and reaches the large intestine, where it feeds the beneficial bacteria already living there. That is what a prebiotic does — it feeds existing bacteria rather than adding new ones, which is what a probiotic does.
How is this different from a normal sports drink?
Most sports drinks handle fuel and electrolytes and stop there. ORO adds a prebiotic fibre because absorption happens in the gut, and it is sweetened with agave rather than with artificial sweeteners or added cane sugar.
Is there caffeine in it?
The final formulation is confirmed at production, and the complete ingredient list will be published on the ingredients page before the first can ships.
What flavours will be available?
Lemon Lime is the launch flavour. More are in development — Oro Club members hear about them first.
When can I buy it?
ORO launches early 2027. Join Oro Club and you will be told the moment it is available, with 15% off your first order.
Where will I be able to buy it?
Retail and distribution partners are being confirmed now. If you run a store, gym, or distribution business and want to carry ORO, get in touch through the wholesale form.
Where does the agave come from?
Five Joaquin’s Agave Farm. Single-origin, for both the prebiotic fibre and the sweetness.
Is it suitable for a vegan or gluten-free diet?
We expect so, and we are not going to claim it before it is certified. Dietary and allergen information is published with the nutrition panel ahead of launch.
